Australian Idol

Cyndi Lauper now owns two Lil Jen hats.
Australian Idol wanted to give Cyndi a thank you gift for all her efforts in mentoring the latest batch of poppets. After consulting her stylist Nikki and the lovely Mariam, head of publicity at Sony BMG, the decision was unanimous…lets give her the Lil Jen ruby red ship hat.
Cyndi had her eye on this earlier in the week and was quite taken with it.

Gangsters Ball

This was a corker of an evening and I attended with regulation hard talkin broad attire, lil jen confection included. It was so wonderful to step into this den of ill repute. an ol fashioned gin house. fellas in spats, three piece suits, fedoras. some even had good old fashioned manners and were engaged in the dying art of chivalry. no damsels in distress, only the most knockout dames you would have seen in a long time. the air was thick with nostalgia. burlesque babes twirlin their tassels, cigarette gals prancing about, the velvet set and swing dancers going for gold. alas twas a stroke before midnight and I jumped into my gangster’s moll chariot and charged off into the night before cold, cruel reality set in.

Cyndi Lauper

I met Cyndi Lauper today!

thats all…oh and this is the lil jen hattie she now owns and adores.

two of my sherbet coloured ship hats appeared on an episode of “Make me a Supermodel” tonight.
they were shot by the talented photographic duo Montalbetti and Campbell and styled by Cassandra Scott Finn as part of a high concept series steeped in mythology, fairytale and the fantastical.
the violet and rose pink ship hats make their appearance atop the heads of the two dashing model type chaps posed each side of the beautiful mermaid
