Giddy up gals! The day that stops a nation is almost here. Lil Jen takes a regal approach with this button topper, featured in this months Marie Claire magazine. An illustration of Napoleon adorns this lil hat with a pair of sweeping Lady Amherst pheasant feathers to frame your darling face.

Sofia Coppola’s film “Marie Antoinette” influenced a decadent pastel, girly palette for the latest range of miniature glittered ship hats. This hat features pretty 1950’s petticoat ruffles and organza petunia petals. Like a trip through that wonderful Parisian macaroon emporium Ladurée, this hat will induce a wanton spirit. Wear this glittered galleon to your next soiree for an eve of Dauphinésque headonism! Did anyone mention cake…
This sweet hat, Banana Musk topper, appeared in the November edition of Marie Claire magazine. It features a glittered yellow quill and an origami ball fashioned from milliner’s petersham ribbon. It is from the “I want candy” collection inspired by nostalgic sweets. Other button toppers in the lolly bag include a popping red and white bullseye, a dainty English violet creme and a super fresh spearminty leaf hattie.
Commissioned for a Montalbetti and Campbell photographic extravaganza, a study in white!
For this confection I hand crafted a wilted peony rose and an origami drum centrepiece with five kanzashi style tendrils featuring french linen petals and origami pom poms.
A maiko inspired masterpiece for a pretty masterchef.
